Has it been over a month since I've last blogged?!
I'm always so dead tired after work that I just concuss on the bed..
I think I should just turn this into a trigger-happy-blog in the future.

For those struggling in vet school, let me give you some words of encouragement!
WORKING LIFE IS HELL FUN! Screw what others say about how shitty it is to work.
Trust me, when you start, then you'll feel that all the hard work in vet sch was worth it.
Seriously, how can anyone say life as a student is so much better than working life?
They must be really hating their jobs. Well, lucky for us, we love what we do :)

So, keep ploughing through your books &
keep burning that midnight oil, you'll get there!

Baby Steps.

Into the working world. Unfortunately, the harsh reality starts to weigh on my shoulders and I start to realise that baby steps just won't do the job. You need to be brave, be confident and have faith to walk the treacherous path knowing that any moment you may just fall. You can count your lucky stars if you escape with a superficial scrape or bruise. Well, at least I know the path is always lighted, and that's a huge comfort to me.

It doesn't have to be easy and I was mentally prepared. Physically, not so.. but that's expected and will take some getting used to. No matter how tired I feel at the end of each day, I always go to bed reminding myself of my initial fire and passion for wanting to do this. So no matter what happens, I will grit my teeth, persevere and continue walking forward.

You can throw me into the deep end, that's okay cos I'm a good swimmer! You can let go of my hand, that's okay too.. cos I know that I need to learn independence someday. The first 6 months will be the hardest right? 1 down, 5 to go! I'll survive.. or rather, I'm confident I'll do better than just surviving. I will finish and accomplish what I set out to do.

In just a split second, dog turned around and took a chomp at my left hand.

"Ooh, he bite you ah?"

"Got hole? Pain ah?"

"...... It's okay."

IT WAS BLOODY PAINFUL CAN!
Can't stand it when people ask stupid questions as such.
Got hole? Ya ya, you try let your dog bite you see got hole or not..
Pain ah? No no, not painful at all.. actually I forgot to tell you I got no nerves.
Still don't even have the decency to apologise on your dog's behalf.

Maybe we should start charging for staff injury. Pffftt.

My job involves baby-sitting too. Haha.

This approximately 1 week old kitten was found in a rubbish bin.
Either mum decided to give birth in the bin, or someone dumped her there.

That's my Harvey in the clinic! :)

T.I.R.E.D
Apologies for not blogging lately. I've been trying to adjust my lifestyle and body to
working.Super not used to waking up early and the long hours at work. My boss
says I need to learn how to manage my time. I think that will require a few months
of getting used to.

Anyway, I will post up some pictures soon. Been really tired lately.
I treasure all my off days now. Even if its only for a few hours.. Haha.

I WANT TO BUY E72 THIS WED! Hai everytime I plan to buy it, something has
to crop up at the clinic, end up my off days are gone and I'm still using this pok phone
that keeps restarting and telling me 'inactive SIM card' like 20 million times a day.

Twenty.Ten

So I spent New Years Eve with a bunch of friends. And we played this game called Saboteur. And oh my goodness. I was surprised at how intellectually challenged I was at playing this game. It looked pretty easy but there I was totally lost in the game. Forget about differentiating who the good/bad people were, I couldn't even figure which way to place the cards to build roads. And I ended up blocking the people in my team. I win- the most retarded award of the night. Yay.

Now, talk about New Years resolutions.. I haven't actually given much thought into it.
I'll get back to this topic later in the week.

To the most exciting part of this post: I AM STARTING WORK TOMORROW!!
Heh. Many people have been asking this so listen up! I'm working at Jireh Vet Clinic.
Located in Windsor Park Estate, Venus Road. Its very near Thomson Plaza.
It's a new and small clinic, but that's the whole point. Haha.
Many people dread working life, but I'm really looking forward to it.
I believe there's so much to see and learn, I really can't wait! Wish me luck!
